Ronnie Eure, 55, of Philadelphia, Pa., went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2005.

He was born in Nansemond County and was the son of the late David and Julia Ashe Eure.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Mary Harrell and Nancy Andrews (James); one brother, Louis Eure; three aunts, Elizabeth Warren, Mariah Frances and Margaret Young; two uncles, George Young and Doll Baby Frances; a devoted friend, Linda Lincoln of Pa.; two step sons and one step daughter of Pa.; a special cousin, Mable Roberts and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, in the chapel of T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. A viewing will be held from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29. The interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.
