Willis Taylor and Ryland Gwaltney scored three goals each and Chris Buttery had two assists in all three’s Senior Night game Friday as Nans-emond-Suffolk Academy fell 17-8 to Covenant. Bobby Holland, Joe Vidarte, Griffin Powell, Charles Persons, Drew Stephenson, Dillon Spence, Jeff Kiser and Justin Naramore also said goodbye.

Vidarte and Taylor sent assists to Gwaltney as the first quarter ended 2-2, and Taylor and Kyle Jett scored in the second quarter to knot things at four. But the Eagles scored six straight goals, and the Saints never got closer than five after that. Taylor had two more goals, and Jett and Spence had one each.

NSA will play its final regular season home game on Tuesday, a makeup game against Highland.
