Gail W. Hinton

Gail Walters Hinton, 53, of the 200 block of Charlemagne Drive, died Monday, May 23, 2005 in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Hinton was born in Newport News and was the daughter of Seth T. and Linda Lucas Walters of Suffolk. A kindergarten and Early Start teacher in the Suffolk City School System for 31 years, she was a member of Berea Christian Church and the National Educators Association.
Surviving other than her parents are her husband, Lonnie Carter Hinton; a son, Deshler Thomas Davies of Suffolk; two daughters, Nikki Hinton Jenson and husband Jeremy of Meridian, Idaho and Lisa Hinton Hudgins and husband, Will of Eure, N.C.; a brother, Steve T. Walters, his wife Cindi, and their children, Courtney, Lauren and Cole, all of Suffolk.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday in Liberty Spring Christian Church by the Rev. Allen Lancaster. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, N.C. and all other times at the home of her parents at 118 N. Liberty Spring Road.
