Both Nansemond River diamond teams will attempt to become the first Suffolk public school squads of the millennium to win a Southeastern District playoff game tonight.

Over at Oscar Smith, the softball team will battle Great Bridge at 5 p.m. The boys, who last made it to the postseason in 2001-02, will take on Deep Creek at 7:30 p.m. at home.
