Men’s Sing-A-Rama today

The V.T. Chambers Men’s Fellowship will sponsor a Sing-A-Rama on at 7 p.m. today at Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 215 Webb St. Appearing on the program are the Second Chance Choir under the direction of Earlene Davis-Lee and the Samuel Chapel Male Chorus of Elizabeth City, N.C. 130th anniversary at Gethsemane Baptist

Gethsemane Baptist Church, 1656 Copland Road, will be celebrating the 130th anniversary of service for God with special anniversary service throughout the month of June 2005. The theme is &uot;130 years of God’s Grace and Mercy&uot;. Each Sunday during the 11 a.m. worship services, the celebration takes place with reflections of the church’s past history, the on-going building champions for Christ and the teaching of God’s word.
