Juanita Blair Stine, 81, loving wife and mother passed away in her home surrounded by her family on June 5, 2005.

Born September 12, 1923, in Oxford, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Ossie Southern and Thomas Francis Blair Sr. Mrs. Stine owned and operated the Attic Trunk for 14 years.

Survivors include her husband Ralph Frederick Stine; two daughters, Sandra King and husband Norman of East Palatka, Fla., Juanita Pearl Thornton and husband Tim of Shawsville; sons, Alfred Winship McLaughlin Jr. and wife Hazel of Jacksonville Fla., Andrew Preston McLaughlin and wife Lisa of Suffolk; 10 grandchildren and nine great grand children; sisters, Virginia Cox and husband Bill of Longwood, Fla., Catherine Cartledge and husband Bill of Liberty Center, Ohio, Pearl Harrell and husband Bob of Suffolk; brothers, William Blair and wife Sarah, George Blair and wife Charnell, James Blair, David Blair and wife Pattie all of Suffolk, Robert Blair and wife Linda and Joe Blair both of Washington D.C.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Mike Derflinger. The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home & Crematory from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Southeastern Virginia Chapter, 20 Interstate Corporate Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, VA 23502-4006.
