Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Brown Hall also known as Ruth, of 2000 Clay Hill Road, Suffolk went into eternal life on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Obici Memorial Hospital. She is pre-deceased by her parents, William A. and Sarah R. Brown and her brother, John (Cake) Brown. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Thomas Hall of Suffolk. She is also survived by her three children, Cindy Brown Cross (James), Cherel Brown Outlaw (David) and Betty Hall Jordan (Kerry) all of Suffolk, her six step-children, Bertha Hall and Peggy Hall both of Rhode Island, N.Y., Louis Outland (Sylvia) of Suffolk, Dennis Outland of Calif., Jill Hall and Thomas Hall Jr., of Rhode Island, N.Y. She will be missed by her four sisters, Mary Brown Kindred, Charlene Brown Williams (Leonard), Linda Brown Jones (Harrison) and Joan Brown Norfleet all of Suffolk, her three brothers, Harry Brown (Evelyn), William Brown (Marion) and Ernest Brown, also of Suffolk. She also leaves to mourn 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Langston Cemetery, Whaleyville Boulevard, Suffolk at 4 p.m. today. Visitation will begin on Friday morning from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 3 p.m. for the procession to the cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the residence, 2000 Clay Hill Road, Suffolk and at 320 Stonehenge Drive.
