The first suspect, armed with a small handgun with his face covered with a mask, held the gun against the clerk’s side. The clerk put money from both registers into a plastic bag.

With the accomplice, also wearing a mask, outside the counter area, the first suspect threatened to shoot the clerk if he didn’t comply, said Lt. Debbie George, Suffolk Police spokeswoman. After getting an undetermined amount of money, the suspects fled toward Kings Highway.

The first suspect is described as a tall black male with a thin build, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet, wearing dark pants and an oversized black short-sleeved T-shirt. Police are also looking for a suspect between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches with a stocky build, last seen wearing a dark-hooded jacket.
