George Eddie Jack Keys Jr.

Mr. George Eddie &uot;Jack&uot; Keys Jr., 62, of 517 Mahlon Avenue, Suffolk, died June 9, 2005 in Obici Hospital. He was a native of Nansemond County. He was the son of the late George Eddie Keys Sr. and Eva White Keys. He was employed with Birdsong Peanut Company.
A daughter, Jackie Keys, son, Jerry Jerome Keys, three sisters and one brother, Nettie Johnson, Gladys Sessom, Margadean Douglas and Charlie Keys preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Keys, of Suffolk; four daughters, Shretta Luton (John) of Newport News, Doris Keys, Suffolk, Marilyn Holliman (James), Suffolk, and Tiera Wiggins, of Suffolk; four sons, George V. Keys, Norris Keys, Lance Wiggins, and Tremaine Hamlin, all of Suffolk; two sisters, Angeline Worthington, of Norfolk, Lucille Best, of North Carolina, 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Rising St. James PHC. Bishop Dwight Whitfield will officiate.
The Interment will be in the Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge. The family will be at 517 Mahlon St., Suffolk.
