Amanda La’Shay Cobb, daughter of Wayne Cobb and Alice Gilchrist-Cobb of Suffolk and granddaughter of Susan Gilchrist and Jean Cobb, received a bachelor of arts degree May 8 from the University of Richmond.

She majored in psychology and minored in anthropology.

Cobb was on the Dean’s List and plans to pursue a master’s degree in psychology and obtain a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
