At the June 9 meeting of the Children’s Center Board of Directors, Robert Meredith (center) received a certificate of appreciation from the board for his 12 years of service. Also pictured are Barbara Mease (l), executive director of the Children’s Center, and Lula Holland, president of the Children’s Center Board of Directors. Meredith, a resident of Franklin, has completed two terms on the board. The Children’s Center has locations throughout Western Tidewater, including Suffolk.
