Annie Irene Clark Ruffin

Annie Irene Clark Ruffin, of 413 Nevada St., and a former member of Tabernacle Christian Church, Suffolk went into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 5, 2005. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Mr. Willie Ruffin and her parents, Mr. John H. Clark and Essie E. Ballard Clark also her brother, Albert L. Clark, Sr. and her twin brother, Irving Lewis Clark.
She retired from the Day Company (Butterdish) where she worked for many years. She is survived by her three children, Brenda Knight, Towana Harvey (Bennie) and Winston D. Clark all of Suffolk, as well as one sister-in-law, Bernice Cherry Clark also of Suffolk. She will be truly missed by her two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her devoted niece, Cynthia Stovall along with her devoted great nieces, Carolyn Stovall, Zombia Clark, Joyce Jacobs and Marline Hollimon, all of Suffolk. She also leaves to mourn her nephews, Albert Clark Jr., and Harvey Clark and her devoted great nephews, Alton Clark and Altonie Stovall, also of Suffolk. She will also be missed by a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral of triumph will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2005 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home, Inc., 685 Carolina Road, Suffolk.
Rev. Tim Harrell from Virginia Beach will be officiating.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. today. The family will receive friends at 413 Nevada St.
