Player of the Year

Hannah Moyer, Nansemond River

What can I say? She did it all.

Moyer could knock shots past a goalkeeper, fake out a defender, or dare someone to so much as think about trying to get the ball past her. But you don’t have to take my word for it – ask the Nansemond River team, which elected her the top Team Player last season and the Most Valuable Player this year. Ask the Southeastern District, which put her on their top squad the past two years. I just wish I’d have gotten to see her play goalkeeper, so I could have found if there was anything she couldn’t do!
