Change bridge to pier

Same Old, Same Old, &uot;putting the cart before the horse&uot; seems to have been brought to life again.

Building another marina before the Indian Village can be built and begin paying taxes to city, seems like bad planning.

As Charles Brown has expressed the need for a fishing pier, it would seem that the Kings highway bridge could be converted to a fishing pier without spending millions of dollars.

Isle of Wight missed a great opportunity when the old James River Bridge was sold to the city of Newport News.

The cost of converting the James River Bridge into a fishing pier has probably been recovered many times.

The Nansemond River Pier would be paid for by fees charged to persons who want to fish there!

The Mattanok Villiage will surely generate some tourism and thus tax money to be used by this city to help build a marina for boaters who wish to use the facilities, as well as bring visitors via boats to visit Mattanok Village and other places of interest.

Tour busses or other public conveyances could become a way for

people to find gainful employment.
