Three charged in N. Suffolk burglary ring

Three men and a 17-year-old have been arrested in connection with a series of nighttime residential burglaries in north Suffolk over the past two months.
Over the weekend, police charged Marcus Finklea, 19, of Suffolk with four counts of residential burglary and three counts of grand larceny; Ronald L. Bowser Jr., 18, of Gretna, La., with one count of residential burglary and one count grand larceny auto; and Levenn C. Johnson, 18, of Algiers, La., with one count residential burglary and one count grand larceny auto.
The juvenile, whose name is not being released due to his age, was charged with five counts of burglary, three counts of grand larceny auto, two counts of grand larceny, two counts of credit card theft and one count each of possession of burglary tools, credit card fraud, larceny of a firearm and petit larceny.
In some cases, the victims were asleep in their homes while the downstairs was being burglarized, said Lt. Debbie George, spokesman for the Suffolk Police Department.
Police recovered four stolen vehicles, digital cameras, DVDs,
a gun, a palm pilot and numerous cell phones, she said.
