The Christian Women Fellowship of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 6100 Holy Neck Road, is celebrating its sixth anniversary with a program at 4 p.m. Aug. 7. The program will feature, &uot;Women of the Bible.&uot; The Rev. Dr. Joseph H. Goode is host pastor.

The Youth Department of Faith of Deliverance is sponsoring a trip to Six Flags in Baltimore, Md., on Sept. 10.Cost is $65 person, which includes tickets, bus fare and a meal voucher. The bus will leave Wal-Mart in Suffolk at 7 a.m. A non-refundable deposit of $35 is due by Aug. 20; the remainder is due by Sept. 3. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Holland Mission UCC
The Rev. J.J. Ferguson will be the speaker on the first and third Sundays in August at 11:30 a.m. at the Holland Mission United Christian Church, located on Dutch Road. Pastor is the Rev. Freddie Hines.

Main Street to
honor youth leader
Main Street Methodist Church is honoring Karen Gunter, who is retiring as youth coordinator, with a pizza party at 5 p.m. Aug. 28 in the church fellowship hall. Cost is $2 for pizza. Balm of Gilead
to honor women
Balm of Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, 3731 White Marsh Road, will present a play written and directed by Marquisha Powell, &uot;These 3 Woman: The Resurrection,&uot; at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6. Admission is free. Call 923-1202 or 286-6992 for information.
The church’s annual Women’s Day service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, with the Evangelist Angie Brinkley of Portsmouth speaking. A guest solo will be performed by Christy Johnson.

Eureka Baptist, on Route 32 North in Corapeake, N.C., will be holding revival at 8 p.m. Aug. 7-10. The Rev. Dr. Charles Jones, pastor of Warwick Baptist Church in Chowan County, is guest speaker. Special music will be provided nightly.
