Lady Saint racking up scholarships

Natalie Danielle Cutchin, a 2005 honor graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, was the recipient of the Sweet Briar College Commonwealth Scholarship.
She also received a $1,000 Barton-Ford-Lincoln-Mercury All-American Scholarship; $1,500, Jane Fischetti/Ann Barber (Obici Hospital Auxiliary) Scholarship; $1,000, Windsor Ruritan Club Scholarship; and $750, Beta Sigma Phi General Scholarship.
Cutchin was also selected as a member of the All Conference-All Academic Team of the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools and received an award for the Virginia Independent Schools Softball Association (VISSA) All-State Academic-Division I.
Cutchin is hoping to pursue a career in medicine and become a pediatric oncologist.
While attending Sweet Briar, she will play on the Vixens volleyball team.
She is the daughter of Teresa Cutchin of Windsor and Wally Cutchin of Newport, Ore.
She is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Horn of Suffolk.
