Blanche Viola Watford, born June 3, 1914, went to her heavenly home Aug. 2, 2005 at Honeyhill Nursing Home in Norwalk, Conn. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Watford and parents Samuel and Elnora Beamon.

She leaves and will be missed by two daughters, Dorothy Beamon and Janice Carter, both of Connecticut, one son, Percy Watford Sr. (Rev. Louise) of Suffolk; four sisters, Yvonne Beamon of Providence, R.I. and Mary Duke, Evelyn Hall, and Etta Wilson (Rev. William) of Suffolk. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and relatives and friends.

Her funeral was Aug. 8, 2005 at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Norwalk, Conn.
