Gosen-House exchange vows

Stacie Lynn Gosen and Edward Ruffin House were united in marriage Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Saginaw, Mich. The Rev. Father David Parsch officiated. A reception was held following the ceremony at the Bay Valley Resort in Bay City.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Kim Pieske and Carsten D. Gosen of Saginaw. She is the granddaughter of Ernest W. Jordan Jr. and
Mr. and Mrs. Carsten A. Gosen, all of Saginaw, and the late Mrs. Jordan.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert V. House of Suffolk. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Allan House, the late Mrs. Corinna Ruffin Gilliam and the late Edward H. Ruffin.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Shannon Elise Gosen, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Callison, Laura Hart, Janel Hemker, Carrie Knapp and Cheryl Louks, friends of the bride.
Robert V. House served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Robert V. House Jr., brother of the groom, and John Carney Hawks, Brian Nold, Christopher Kilian Peace and Garland Hale Barr IV, friends of the groom.
Melissa Bentley and Christopher Peace were readers. Kara Florey and Melissa Bentley served as hostesses.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents on Friday at Bay Valley Resort. After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Suffolk.
Stacie is a graduate of Swan Valley High School and Saginaw Valley State University. She is a certified public accountant with the firm of Cherry, Beckart and Holland in Virginia Beach.
Ed is a graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, the University of Virginia and the Regent School of Law. He is an attorney with the law firm of Glasscock, Gardy and Savage.
