The Spiritual Harmoneers of Tidewater will hold their reunion anniversary performance at 4 p.m. today at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 4901 Deer Path Road. Admission is free.

Ebenezer hosts women’s event

Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1589 Steeple Drive, is hosting a women’s seminar, &uot;Trusting God in the Midst of Your Circumstances,&uot; from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 1. Faith of Deliverance’s youth trip

The Youth Department of Faith of Deliverance is sponsoring a trip to Six Flags in Baltimore, Md., on Sept. 10. Cost is $65 person, which includes tickets, bus fare and a meal voucher. The bus will leave Wal-Mart in Suffolk at 7 a.m. A non-refundable deposit of $35 is due by Aug. 20; the remainder is due by Sept. 3. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Tabernacle Christian Church is sponsoring a shopping trip to an outlet mall in Rehoboth Beach, Del.. The bus will leave from the church at 6 a.m. Aug. 27 and return by midnight. Oxford clothes closet available

As part of Oxford United Methodist’s church’s mission work in the city of Suffolk, the congregation is operating a clothes closet. The program has been running since June 30. Operation hours are from 9 a.m. to noon every Thursday. Hours will expand as the need grows and the closet becomes mores established.

Oxford is partnering with other local churches to meet the growing need in Suffolk. Residents are asked to assist in the following areas: prayer, volunteering, and donations (pick-up is available). To assist, call 434-1405.
