Anne Meacham Epps

Anne Meacham Epps, 58, a resident of Autumn Care in Suffolk, passed away Aug. 17, 2005.
Born in Mississippi, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Suffolk and a member of its Good News Sunday School class.
Anne retired in 1998 after 26 local years as a vital statistics clerk with the Suffolk Health Department.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Elizabeth &uot;Beth&uot; Hubbard and husband Mark; her mother, Grace Burns Meacham, all of Suffolk; two brothers, David L. Meacham of Spotsylvania and Curtis C. Meacham and wife Charlotte of Suffolk; grandchildren Megan Blythe and Jordan Hubbard and numerous nieces and nephews.
&uot;Gramie&uot; will be sadly missed by her granddaughter Megan.
She was predeceased by her father, Chester F. Meacham.
Anne has an extended family and friends in the staff at Autumn Care Nursing Home. The family would like to send a special thank you to Cindy A. and the warm and caring staff in the ICU at Obici Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday Aug. 19, 2005 in the Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of Harrell and Hill Funeral Home in Suffolk. Burial will be private.
Friends may join the family at 3528 Robs Lane following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society, Hampton Roads Chapter, 405 S. Parliament Drive, Virginia Beach, VA, 23462.
Anne had always been an inspiration to all who knew her and never gave up the fight.
