A 52-year-old man injured in a drive-by shooting around 10 p.m. Tuesday is recovering in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Darryl Bullock of the 500 block of Second Avenue was shot in the stomach by a stray bullet while sitting on a bed inside his home, said Lt. Debbie George, spokeswoman for the Suffolk Police Department.
Bullock, who was airlifted to the Norfolk Hospital, was in serious condition early Wednesday, George said. He had surgery later in the day, a hospital spokesman added.
Police have no suspects in the incident, George said.
Detectives are looking for three or four black males, driving a green Mitsubishi Galant or similar vehicle, that were seen shooting at houses along the street, said George.
