It is with great pride and pleasure that Manuel and Sharon Ponte of Belle Mead, N.J., along with Joseph and Klema Vardaro of Suffolk, announce the engagement of their children, Valerie Susan Ponte and Andrew Ralph Vardaro.

Valerie is a graduate of James Madison University and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is currently employed as a traffic coordinator with Ogilvy One of New York, N.Y.

Andrew, also a graduate of James Madison University, holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration. He is currently employed as a retail sales manager with Verizon in Virginia Beach.

A June 2006 wedding is planned in New Jersey.

The couple plans to reside in Virginia Beach.
