On Aug. 28, 2005, Susie Virginia Reid-Myrick was visited at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center by angels of eternal peace. She was born on Oct. 3, 1929 to the late John A. Reid, Sr. and Maggie Holland in Nansemond County.

A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005

at T.E.Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2005 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery.
