Christine Bailey Oliver, 80, died Sept. 1, 2005 in Atlanta, Geo. Born Feb. 15, 1925 in Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Nannie Vaughan and William Judson Bailey and the widow of Lawrence Oliver. She was a member of West End Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Karmon O. Brown of Martinsville and Kevon Oliver of Marietta, Geo. and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday Sept. 12, 2005 in the West End Baptist Church by the Rev. T. Floyd Irby with a visitation to follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Burial was private. R. W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
