Suffolk Fall Ball tips off

Suffolk Fall Ball is tipping off at Nansemond River High School.

Involving River, Lakeland, King’s Fork, and seven more area schools, the four-week long league is preparation for the upcoming boys’ basketball season.

All games are played at Nansemond River. Admission is $1 and concessions will be open during the games.

Games are set for Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and then various nights during the week between 6 and 8 p.m.

The following is the schedule for the three Suffolk schools:

Wednesday – 9/21

7:30 – King’s Fork vs. Nansemond River

Saturday – 9/24

12:00 – Heritage vs. King’s Fork

2:00 – Norview vs. Nansemond River

Wednesday – 9/28

6:30 – Hickory vs. Lakeland

7:30 – Wilson vs. Nansemond River

Thursday – 9/29

6:00 – Tallwood vs. King’s Fork

Saturday – 10/1

11:00 – King’s Fork vs. Norcom

12:00 – Norview vs. Lakeland

Monday – 10/3

7:30 – Gloucester vs. King’s Fork

Wednesday – 10/5

6:00 – Wilson vs. Lakeland

8:00 – Hickory vs. Nansemond River

Saturday – 10/8

9:00 – Norcom vs. Nansemond River

10:00 – Tallwood vs. Lakeland

11:00 – Wilson vs. King’s Fork
