Citizens can go online to verify their voter registration status at the Virginia State Board of Elections web site, located at www.sbe.state.va.us.

The site can also be used to determine voting locations as well as elected officials and representatives.

If going online is not an option, citizens can telephone or visit their local registrar’s office for information.

To ensure privacy and security while verifying voting status online, citizens must use a DMV personal identification number (PIN) available through the DMV web site.

After applying for a PIN online, DMV will mail it to a home address.
