On Oct. 2, 2005, Mrs. Virginia Lang-Hall peacefully passed away at her residence. She was born on Aug. 30, 1931 to the late William B. Boone and Sarah Boone in Gates County, N.C.

At an early age, Virginia relocated to Suffolk and attended Suffolk Public Schools. She was a member of Mt. Ararat United Church of Christ.

Virginia leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her life, husband Phillip T. Hall, seven children, and a host of family members and friends.

Viewing will be from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., Oct. 6, 2005 at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. The family will be at the funeral home to greet visitors from 7 p.m. -8 p.m. A funeral service will be held noon on Oct. 7, 2005 at Mt. Ararat United Church of Christ. The family will receive visitors at 2253 Skeeter Town Road at all other times.
