Staff report
Last Friday was a tough day for Suffolk high school football, as all four teams lost by quite a bit. But there’s a bit new incentive this time around. First, Nansemond River’s holding its Homecoming game tonight, even though they’re playing the top team in the district. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy can stake its claim to the TCIS crown with a victory. Here’s the overall picture.
-King’s Fork vs. Deep Creek, 7 p.m.
-Lakeland at Hickory, 7 p.m.
-Nansemond River vs. Oscar Smith, 7 p.m.
-Nansemond-Suffolk Academy vs. Norfolk Academy, 7 p.m.
