Richard L. Crocker

Richard Leman Crocker, 63, of the 1700 block of Mt. Lebanon Avenue died Oct. 23, 2005, in Obici Hospital. He was a native of Nansemond County and son of the late Shedrick Crocker Sr. and Manie E. Moore Crocker.
He was retired from the Newport News Shipyard were he worked as a pipefitter. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Church of God in Christ.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: five sisters, Mary Hall of Suffolk, Manie Clifton of Salisbury, Md., Annie Bailey and Esther Mooring, both of Norfolk, and Ethel Jones of Hampton; four brothers, Shedrick Crocker Jr., Melvin Crocker, Clarence Crocker and David Crocker, all of Suffolk; and nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, in Mt. Lebanon Church of God in Christ by Elder Larry Gray. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
