For the second time in five years, Homearama comes to Suffolk, bringing approximately 100,000 visitors during the 16-day event.

When people from throughout Hampton Roads and the Mid-Atlantic area see what a great place Suffolk is, many are sure to want to make it home.

National sponsorships and national media attention are also part of the event. In previous years, The Weather Channel and Southern Living have done features about Homearama homes and the show is recognized as one the country’s top 10 home extravaganzas.

This year’s event will take place at the Estates of Pitchkettle Farms from Sept. 30 to Oct. 15, making it possible for attendees to make a visit to Peanut Fest as well and really experience life in Surprising Suffolk.

Much hard work and sound policy decisions have gone into making Suffolk what it is today and being selected to host Homearama is a feather in the city’s cap.
