On Nov. 15, 2005, God called home to rest our beloved mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, Mary Frances Nickelson. She was the daughter of James Nickelson Sr. and the late Frances Burke Nickelson. She

was preceded in death by her brother James Nickelson Jr.

She was born June 28, 1942. She was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Michael (Tyrone) Nickelson (Ona) of Suffolk; two sisters, Delores Washington and Bernice Riddick, both of Suffolk; one grandson, Byron Nickelson; one sister-in-law, Jacqueline C. Nickelson; two brothers-in-law, Robert Washington and Willie Riddick; one great-aunt, Beatrice Copeland of North Carolina; three nieces, Treva N. Stokes, Delicia Washington, Lacresha Rid-dick; three nephews, David L. Cross, Marcus Washington and Anthony Washington; a special caregiver, Patricia Wilson and a host of cousins and devoted friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 21, 2005 in Faith Temple Apostolic Chu-rch by the Rev. Frazier God-frey. The body will be taken to the church at noon. Interment will be at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 12:30 p.m. at 509 Wellons Street for the church procession.
