Samuel Harris of Chisholm Lane, Suffolk, died Nov. 24, 2005 in Obici Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was son of the late Jessie and Clara Parker Harris.

He was a retired machinist from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Odessa Harris of the home; one daughter, Lisa Harris Williamson (Jeffrey) of Norfolk; two sons, Morris Samuel Harris and Norris Samuel Harris, both of Suffolk; two sisters, Isabell Williams of Queens Village, New York and Ruby Johnson (Claude) of Jamaica, New York; four sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005 at 1 p.m. in Crocker Funeral Home by Elder Jonathan H. Powell. Interment will be in the Jordan Family Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will be at the residence. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.-com
