Lillian Catherine Norman, 91, of Hampton died Nov.27, 2005.
Lillian was born in Schoolfield Oct. 28, 1914. She was a resident of Fox Hill and a member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Mrs. Norman was also an active member of the Fidelis Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Norman, son Richard L. Norman three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Norman was the matriarch of the family and is survived by her children and their spouses, Ruben Norman and wife Rosemary of Hampton, Ann Davis and husband Jeff of Toano, and Johnny Norman and wife Susan of Carrollton; one brother, William Scarce of High Point, N.C.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church by the Rev. Henry Sudduth. Interment will follow in Clark Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
