Both Nansemond-Suffolk Academy swim teams finished eighth in their respective divisions at the Old Dominion Aquatic Club High School Classic Saturday at Old Dominion University.

Ryan Hanson, Philip Brooks, Joe DiRenzo and Brandon Wilder got ninth in the 200-medley relay, and Kelly Ruland, Meredith Beale, Tiffany Buckley and Maggie Standing were 14th in the girls race. Wilder was eighth in the 200-freestyle and Brooks 16th in the 200-individual medley.

Meaghan Rowley was 11th in 50- and 100-freestyle and Hanson was 14th in 100-fly and 10th in 100-backstroke. Beale finished 14th in 100-backstroke. Brooks notched fourth in 100-breast.

Hanson, Brooks, DiRenzo and Wilder were 10th in 200-free relay, and Beale, Rowley, Buckley and Jade Bishop got fifth in the girls’ race. Bishop, Standing, Rowley and Beale came in seventh in 400-free relay.
