Alfred Lee Coles of 316 Baker Street went into eternal life on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Nansemond Point Convalescent Center. A native of Suffolk he is predeceased by his parents, Roosevelt Coles and Catherine Holloway , one brother Joseph Cole and Roosevelt Coles Jr. and one son Isaiah Pelham.

his three sons,

Gregory Pelham, Timothy Pelham and Alfred Lee Hall and one stepson William Pelham (Brenda) all of Suffolk. He is also survived by his daughter Shelia Pelham of Suffolk and one step-daughter Darlene Holloway (Keith) of Hampton. He leaves to mourn his brothers Samuel Coles (Delois) of Suffolk and Abraham Coles (Nadine) of California. He is also survived by his two aunts Mrs. Sarah Taylor and Mrs. Olivia Green both of Suffolk. He will be missed by his two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A Home Going Celebration Service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Harris Funeral Home, Inc. 685 Carolina Rd., Suffolk. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 15, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Shelia Pelham, 324 Webb Street, Suffolk. The Rev. James B. Williams will be officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dill Rd., Suffolk. Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the Home Going Celebration Service.
