On Friday, March 10, 2006 our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, friend and faithful servant of God, Pearlean Edwards, the widow of Louis D. Edwards, peacefully entered into eternal rest. She was predeceased by Virgin Roberts, Rosa Edwards, James Edwards, and Eula J. Vaughan.

Survivors to cherish special memories include Louise V. Smith (Wade), Norfolk, Va., Donna L. Hollimon (Leffery), Suffolk, Terri Sawyer, and Deirdre Sawyer, both of Suffolk. 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, Goddaughter Jackie Chapman, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Homegoing service will be held Wednesday at 12 noon in Piney Grove Baptist Church, 4901 Deerpath Rd., Suffolk , by Rev. Larry Parker. Interment will be at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Rd., Suffolk.

The family will receive friends at 607 Matthew Court, Suffolk.

The body will be placed in the church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
