Patricia King Daniels

Mrs. Patricia King Daniels, of 4464 Old Mill Road, Suffolk, entered eternal rest, Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Sentara Obici Hospital.
Born July 6, 1944, she was the youngest of six children of the Late McCarthy Frank and Juanita Weaver King.
She was the widow of Mr. Ray T. Daniels Sr. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rachel K. Johnson and two brothers, Clinton M. King Sr. and Dewitt L. King Sr.
She was formerly employed by General Electric, Suffolk Public School System and Central State Hospital, Petersburg.
She was a barber for a number of years at Community Barber Shop, Suffolk. She retired on disability from Southeastern Public Service Authority, Portsmouth.
Mrs. Daniels was a member of Chapel Grove United Church of Christ.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving son, Ray T. Daniels Jr, of Washington, D.C.; a devoted sister, Mrs. Bessie K. Chambliss (George); a dutiful brother, Earl W. King (Jeanet) both of Petersburg; devoted nieces and nephews; She will also be missed by lifelong friends, M. Elizabeth Brown and family of Chesapeake, Louvenia Milteer of Suffolk.
Patricia was cared for by her neighbors, Clarence and Orpah West and devoted caregiver, Charlotte Myrick. The family would also like to thank staffs of Sentara Obici Hospital and Norfolk Sentara Oncology Departments.
A funeral service will be held, 1 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2006 from Chapel Grove United Church of Christ, Windsor. The Rev. J.J. Fergerson, pastor emeritus, will deliver the eulogy.
Entombment will be in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery Mausoleum. Mrs. Daniels may be viewed today from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk.
Professional services of remembrance are being provided to the Daniels family by the staff of William N. Bland & Son Funeral Home.
