Vanessa A. Kee, 43, of 1000 Litton Lane died Monday, April 17, 2006 in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was born in Nansemond County (Suffolk) to Mary A. Kee and Herman Kee Sr. She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, attended Norfolk State University, and was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church.

She is survived by her mother Mary A. Kee; father Herman J Kee Sr.; two sisters, Druscilla A. Kee of Suffolk, and Tammy Kee-Freeman (Darren); and one brother, Herman L. Kee Jr. of Suffolk; three nieces, Ciera Freeman, Tamara Freeman, and Monae Garland of Suffolk; one nephew, Christopher Kee; five aunts, seven uncles, cousins and devoted friend Trend Stokes.

The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, April 22, 2006 in Tabernacle Christian Church by Rev. Dr. Carlton Upton Sr. Pastor. Interment will be in

Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of her parents, 1234 Lake Kennedy Drive. The 1980 class of John F. Kennedy High School has a special invitation to sit in on the day of sevice.
