Dennis Eltonio Brown, 28, of 1200 Clarys Drive, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2006.

He was born to Dennis and Linda Brown at Norfolk Community Hospital on August 26, 1977.

A native of Suffolk, he attended Suffolk public schools and grew up as a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Dennis leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Keyara R. Brown; parents, Dennis and Linda Brown; 2 sisters: Tawania Brown and Linda Silkman (William); a brother, Andre Brown; 2 nieces: Alexis Brown and Chessie Silkman; 1 nephew, Noah Silkman; and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Brown will be on view Thursday, June 15 from 2-7 p.m., and Friday, June 16 from 10 a.m.-7 .p.,m at T.E. Cooke-Overton funeral home.

The family will receive visitors at 224 North 6th St. at all other times.

A funeral will be held 2 p.m. in his honor Saturday, June 17 at Metropolitan Baptist Church. Interment will be at Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will assemble 1:15 p.m. at North 6th Street for the procession to the church.
