Arrests made in robbery

JACKSON – Two more suspects are in custody in connection with a robbery at Arrowhead Mobile Home Park in August.

According to Chief Detective Daryl Harmon of the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office, both suspects were arrested last week.

Jonathan Eugene Bryant, 22, of Highway 111 North in Tarboro was served warrants for two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault with a deadly weapon.

His bond was set at $40,000 and he had his first appearance on October 16.

The second arrestee was Arthur Franklin Askew II, 21, of 11 Trey Run Lane in Tarboro. Askew was charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was placed in the Northampton County Jail under a $20,000 bond and had his first appearance Monday.

Both suspects were arrested by the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office.

The two were charged in connection with an incident at the Arrowhead Mobile Home Park August 26.

During the incident, three victims in a home there were allegedly attacked by weapons and their possessions were taken.

Earlier this month, Jennifer Moss and Sarah Bowers were charged in the incident. Both of those suspects face two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
