Holiday Cheer Fund continues to grow

The annual holiday Cheer Fund continues to grow.

The fund, through the Suffolk News-Herald, supports the area’s Toys-for-Tots program, which provides toys to thousands of youngsters each Christmas.

The latest donations are:

$1,000from Frank, Sally, Matt, Stephen, and Michael, in memory of Lewis & Mary Helen Rawls and Lawrence E. Blanchard Jr.;

$1,000 from Richard Bennett Trust;

$100 from Suffolk Alignment & Automotive Specialists Inc.;

$100 from Drs. Dodson, Taylor, & Jett Inc.;

$100 from the officers and employees of Gateway Bank/Suffolk Branch;

$200 from Commercial Ready Mix Products Inc.;

$175 from Butler Paper Recycling Inc.

Total: $2,675
