Virginia State Trooper Robert A. Hill Sr., killed in the line of duty Saturday, will be buried today.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. at the Apostolic Faith Church of God at 608 Oak St. in Franklin.

WAVY-10 TV will be providing coverage of the funeral service. In accordance with the Hill family’s wishes, this pool camera will be the only media allowed inside the church. The service will be simulcast on large screens outside the church.

A graveside service will immediately follow the funeral. The burial will take place at Care Memorial Gardens on Route 628, Wakefield Road, just north of Courtland.
