For some time I have been concerned with how motorists disregard the speed limit signs in our neighborhood in East Suffolk Gardens. That concern has been heightened by the number of small children in my block on Custis Road.

I spoke to my civic league president Mr. William Goodman, and asked if he would contact the appropriate department to get a sign at the entrance to our neighborhood on S. Sixth Stret.

Thank you Mr. Goodman and thank you city officials the sign is up. I only hope now the motorists will notice the sign which says: watch out for children.
