As president and founder of the Suffolk Substitute Teachers’ Association, I bring you warm wishes from our active members.

I write today specifically on behalf of all substitute teachers. Since childhood, I was taught to congratulate and to express appreciation when it is due. As substitute teachers, we appreciate the Suffolk School Board.

It is refreshing to know as we move further into the new millennium that teachers and substitute teachers are high on the Suffolk School Board priority list. Their support will help keep qualified teachers and substitute teachers working in our city.
