King’s Fork High School will be closed Wednesday because of heating problems, school officials announced Tuesday evening.

Evening activities at the school will continue, because the heat should be repaired by mid-afternoon, said Suffolk Public Schools spokeswoman Bethanne Bradshaw.

School will resume Thursday. Students should follow the ODD schedule for classes.
