Suffolk’s Public Works Department issued a stop-work order two weeks ago to the Southeastern Public Service Authority to make them stop clearing land for the construction of Cell VII.

City officials, however, observed the land from the ground and by aerial photographs, and it is clear that the land has been cleared, said Public Works Director Eric Nielsen. When asked why the land was being cleared, a SPSA employee responded that they were constructing Cell VII.
