Suffolk Police were investigating two undetermined deaths on Saturday night in the 600 block of Broad Street.

City spokeswoman Debbie George said a female called 911 around 6:30 p.m. to say she thought there was a problem at the residence. George said the woman gave specific reasons why she thought there was a problem, although George declined to say what those reasons were.

When police arrived at the residence, they found a male and a female, both dead, inside the house. There was no sign of forced entry, George said.

Police have a preliminary idea of the cause of death, although George declined to give specifics until an autopsy is completed.

A female who lives in the residence was last seen at 11 a.m. Saturday. Police still are waiting on positive identifications of the bodies.
