Association provides united voice for substitutes

I appreciate the opportunity to write to you today on behalf of the Suffolk Substitute Teachers Association, as well as all substitute teachers who serve the teachers and students of the city.
Our association was founded in 1991 to have a united voice for occasions such as this. I represent those skillful individuals who provide the proficiency needed when regular teachers must be out of the classroom.
And now we need the support of each member of the Suffolk School Board. As you study, plan, research and prepare for the 2009-2010 school year, kindly include a relationship with substitute teachers.
Finally, we want to thank the School Board for all it has done. God bless, and may heaven smile upon its members.
