Kay Boone is the director of tickets and registration at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts.
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
A: I get to work with the community and provide assistance. I am the director of the box office, register children as well as adults in classes we offer and the home school arts initiative. I enjoy just meeting the needs of the community and working with the community at large. I also enjoy going into the schools on career days and meeting a multitude of people. I enjoy working with the staff here. It actually is fun.
Q: What most excites you about the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts?
A: There’s always something new and different. We are offering a plethora of classes, and not just to little kids, but all ages. The season this year is different, exciting, educational but entertaining at the same time. I think we’ll have a really good year.
Q: What do you do in your leisure time?
A: I do a lot of reading, cooking and things of that nature.
